Fish & Chips
I had the fish and chips this evening 1/26/24 and it was wonderful. The battered and deep fried flounder was amazing. The breading was light and crispy. Cooked at just the right temp and time, there was no greasy taste, just perfection. My wife had the shrimp platter and was equally pleased. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. You will like this Resturant!
BBQ Short Rib
Impossibly delicious. Debating ordering this twice in the same day. The char on the rib is perfect and the grits are a wonderful accompaniment.
Oysters & Pickles
The oysters were melt in your mouth delicious and the fried pickles were great. Hannah gave us awesome service.

Dang son!!!! I love these Fish & Grits. Truly one of the best versions that I have ever eaten in all of my travels anywhere. The batter on the fish is light, crisp, flavorful, and fried perfectly. The grits are creamy and provide the base for the star of the show; a perfectly spiced, inspired melange of roasted vegetables to round out the entire dish. Just delicious. Get this dish if you are ready for a change in your life!

Kalua Pig
We are constantly in the hunt for mainland Kalua pork that can rival that we've had in Maui. This pork is done just as well but with an extra bit of char that makes it unreal. Best we've found so far! You won't be disappointed (unless you are unable to comprehend meals served in a bowl)

I had one of the best meals I've ever had in my LIFE at Salt Island! Not only was my meal amazing, but my husband and children loved their meals also, and we all loved the edemame appetizer! When we visit Tybee again next summer we hope to eat their again. Until we meet again, we'll be dreaming of Kalua Pig, shrimp, and edamame!

I have eaten here a few times, but decided to try the cheeseburger for a change. I was pleasantly surprised. The burger was thick and juicy and cooked to perfection. It definitely exceeded my expectations.

This item is so scrumptious that it ruined other lesser avocado toast for me for a while. I salivate just thinking on it. It’s enough to bring a tear to your eye
